bought a few domains a while ago and two of them re-direct to my YouTube channel! it’s super cool
just wanted to share so that people on these forums are reminded that the use of domains for social media or for other websites is very useful in terms of the discoverability of your content (and to self-promo a bit lol)

i know i should save money… but… hmmmmmmmmmmmm

edit: i would look at domains more but i really dont want GoDaddy being in my searches…


That’s what I did, too, because you can no longer get a custom YT url until you have a certain number of subscribers, which makes it more difficult to share your channel online. So I created a subdomain of my main domain that redirects to my YT channel page.
