Questions category

We have solved and answered but we dont have the opposite, questions.

Do you think this should be a category?

i mean you can ask any question you want in either #general-discussion or #off-topic (depending on what the question is)

Ideas and feature requests are probably where they’d go, or just general discussion. It wouldn’t hurt, but categorizing the countless previous threads and scanning to find a single idea, making sure it’s not repeated etc, would be a huge pain and process. I think that the already existing ones are pretty good : p

:thinking:that’s probably not necessary…just ask the questions.

Ideas sounds more like your ideas rather than your questions.

If we have a questions category it would be easy for new people to understand

changed from ideas & feature requests to forum bugs & feedback as it’s not an idea/request for the byte app or service :v:t3:

Exactly thats why it was forums feedback in the first place, idk why it was changed

oh it was changed?:joy:
yikes. it makes sense in this one because it’s feedback for the forum. nothing to do with byte

Exactly.

Most questions are either about updates, features, or general trivia. Anything about updates could be put in #solved-and-answered, anything about features could also go there or in #idea, and general trivia would go in #off-topic. there doesn’t really need to be change en mi opinion

But wouldnt it be easier for mods to see all the questions so they can answer them?

We regularly check all the threads posted each day usually, so it should be good. Not to mention flags for duplicates and such always make the process a lot easier : p

Could make it even betterer

Yes…maybe…but isn’t it kinda general discussion?

Kind of, but if it had a section for itself then

  1. Would be easy for mods to see
  2. Would pair up with #solved-and-answered
